2 Smart Cookies Logo
Challenge: Two smart women run this hip confectionary catering business in the trendy Bloor West Village area of Toronto. They required a logo that was both playful and easy to identify on their packaging. They also needed to advertise both their cookies and cupcakes in the same logo.
Solution: We designed this logo with their audience in mind, using bright colours and a hand-drawn font. We came up with a symmetrical design, framed in an ellipse, so it would look good on round stickers that could be easy to identify on their packaging. Beechgrove Country Foods logo
Challenge: Beechgrove Country Foods is a meat processing plant for distributors of large chains and wanted a logo to help their brand stand out on supermarket shelves.
Solution: Degroot Design presented this traditional "deli-style" looking logo to reflect their expertise as "Cooked Meat Specialists".

Challenge: To design a logo for an online company that helps victoms of identity theft regain their stolen information.
Solution: We developed a logotype and icon that played on the imagery surrounding identity (fingerprint) and theft (magnifying glass).

Solution: We created a logo with warm tones where the CHD initials envelope the "global" community.

Challenge: To design a logo for a hip, urban writer, that reflected both her personality and writing style.
Solution: We focused on the word-play "cocoa media" to create a logo that reflects "warmth/richness with writing". We also designed the client's website cocoamedia.ca using WordPress as a CMS.

Solution: We created the logo icon of the apple, with a bite in the shape of a heart taken out of it as a play on both "eating healthy" and "healthy heart".
